NSC Logo and Certification Mark

Do you need to display the Nesus Certification (NSC) logo?

Displaying the NSC logo (as above) demonstrates to your clients and others that your MSPO management system meets the requirements of a given standard or scheme and has achieved certification from NSC.

Your certification is a valuable asset. We encourage you to promote your achievement and continued commitment to good MSPO management practices by displaying the NSC logo as set out within the guidelines of this document.

Do you need to display the NSC logo?

When you receive your certificate of approval, you will also receive the NSC logo artwork appropriate to your certification status and standard. You will be provided with the applicable logo.

Where to display the NSC logo?

As a NSC certified client, you may display the logo on:

  • 1. Publicity and company literature, brochures, etc;
  • 2. Corporate electronic media such as the internet;
  • 3. Internal walls & doors;
  • 4. Exhibition display equipment relating to your certification;
  • 5. Company vehicles;
  • 6. Larger boxes etc used for the transportation of products (secondary packaging) that can be reasonably considered as not reaching end consumers, providing that a clear statement is included below the NSC logo. This statement should read for example “This product was manufactured in a plant whose MSPO management system is certified as meeting the requirements of MS 2530:2013 ”.

Where NOT TO DISPLAY the NSC logo?

As a certified organization, you may not display the NSC logo:

" On products, for example; the tangible product itself or its primary packaging, product certificates (certificates of conformity, calibration and/or testing) UNLESS certified for MSPO Supply Chain Certification (Product Certification). "

What size should the NSC logo be displayed?

The NSC logo can be reproduced to any size, always respecting the proportions of the logo.

What colour should the NSC logo be displayed?

The NSC logo can be reproduced in either the colours provided or your predominant branding colour (solid colour).

Do you need to display the certification mark?

Where the NSC certificate of approval shows it is an indication that NSC is approved by the scheme owner to provide certification for the given standard or scheme. The NSC certification mark and the Department of Standards Malaysia accreditation mark shall not be displayed as separate entities (once NSC is accredited).

Where to display the certification mark?

As a NSC certified organization, you may display the certification mark on:
  • 1. Publicity and company literature, brochures, company leaflets etc.
  • 2. Internal walls and doors and on exhibition stands.
  • 3. Electronic reproduction of the Certification Mark such as the internet is permitted provided that the requirements of this document are met.

Where NOT TO DISPLAY the certification mark?

Certified organizations may not display the certification mark on:
Products or in a way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity, for example; on the product itself or its primary packaging, product certificates and inspection reports (certificates of conformity, calibration and/or testing) UNLESS the product is certified under Product certification Scheme etc MSPO SCCS.

What colour should the certification mark be displayed?

The certification mark can be reproduced in the colours provided.

Discontinuation of the NSC Certification Logo and/or MSPO Logo

A client certified by NSC shall discontinue the use of the NSC certification logo and/or accreditation mark/MSPO Logo immediately when any of the following conditions exist:

  • A lapse of certification, suspension or withdrawn;
  • The client has made a change to his Quality System which has not been accepted by NSC, and which could reasonably be expected to affect the client’s qualification for certification;
  • The client has failed to implement a change to the system requirements issued by NSC;
  • Any other circumstances, which arise, which could reasonably be expected to adversely affect the client’s Quality System certified by NSC, as identified in the contract agreement.

Misuse and Penalty

Misuse of NSC certification logo and/or accreditation mark would lead to corrective action, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression and, if necessary, other legal action.
